12:46am: Argh! LJs driving me nuts!
*sigh* ...whatever LJ has been doing it is severely messing up my Friends page *bashes-head-on-desk-in-frustration* It's been doing it for a couple of months now but it's getting worse *slump* First it started displaying the page in dark blue, so dark I could not read the text in black, and now it's not updating. I've tried everything recommend in the LJ Support section but nothing has worked *groan*

Anyway ignore that rant please.

Although it's from the 1960's I'm not certain if it was recorded in Japan or Germany? I have not recollection of ever reading about or hearing mentioned that Takarazuka toured Germany in the 60's. So another curiosity...

6:12pm: It is with a heavy heart that I post this....
..but....

I have concerns about Mizu being top of Yuki gumi. I don't have concerns at the moment about Mizu being a top of another troupe, such as Hoshi, not at all! But at Yuki!? I like Mizu she is most attractive but she cannot sing particularly well in the otoko role from the shows I have seen her in. Although I find her most watchable :)

It's just that Yuki has such a reputation for good singers stretching a long way back - Asami Rei, Michi Taira(at times), Keaki Mori, Ichiro Maki, Fubuki Takane, Todoroki Yuu, Asami Hikaru.* I just wish they had moved Touko to Yuki to continue this good tradition. Good singing is very important to me as I have sensitive ears, I'm not a dance fan as such, they dance in heals so their dancing is fairly limited. Anyway it's just my personal opinion but I shall try and put it out of my mind. I know that I am looking forward to two very different but equally gorgeous and talented sexy lovelies! :D

* I did not see Bun chan's show so I can't comment on her performance.

11:58pm: Dance meeting featuring Senka members
Takarazuka are having their dance meeting on October 20th according to the news page. Amongst those listed to perform are Kasagano, Matsumoto Yuri(I can her the squee from PL starting up like a distant trumpet in the alps;), Akira Ban, Kuni Natsuki, Kaori Ebira, Ichihara Kei, Aki Itsumine. Plus younger performers such as Mizu Natsuki, Hiro, Otozuki, to name a few.

Osa & Asa received the most votes not surprisingly but the did not win overall, which I thought they would, as the votes were well spread out across the board. Only one otokoyaku/musemeyaku couple received a vote, Asako & Mihoko.

What sort of scenes or characters would you like to see more of in Takarazuka fan fiction?

"Romance" won hands down :D No surprises there then :)
"Behind the scenes at the company" came in second edging out "lust" to third! Well there's a turn up for the books. I thought "lust" would come second but no, the taka fans are an inquisitive lot and like to know what is really going on :) "Unrequited love" came in fourth out of ten! Oh the heartbreak and longing of a taka fan... That was a surprise, as I presumed people would like more drama in the fan fics.

9:07am: Ko Minoru as Prime Minister of Japan
I had one of my repetitive dreams last night. Ko Minoru had been made an interim prime minister of Japan as it was felt that she was a suitable candidate with a suitable intellect. There had been a scandal or something so a respectable, serious and sleaze free candidate was required. Minoru fit the bill perfectly. All this happened before I met her. I was working as a play-write(stop laughing ;) and it was my first big serious political play in Japan and guess who had the lead? Yes Noru! So I was working with her in rehearsals. The play was a big deal for both of us. Noru had decided to go back to acting after being prime minister, a difficult and controversial decision. She was very good, very professional and prepared. I like that! :) I was quite nervous, as it was my first big serious play, and having to do a few last minute scene revisions, but Noru was fantastic, she didn't need those revisions, she just held her ground and made it work because she was such a good actress.

Later on some other takaraseinnas including Hiromu and Yuuga cropped up very briefly in another dream. It was a different rehearsal, possibly an in-house taka one. Hiromu and Yuuga were dressed in above the knee length white togas which were tied at the waist. The top half of the toga was worn loosely around their waists revealing their upper bodies! They were quite muscular and their chests were those of female athletes, their pectoral muscles were quite toned. I thought "I must tell such-n-such(LJ member) that Tani isn't that well endowed" :D

Anyway yesterday nights dream was a lot better than those two....
I was stuck on a small tropical island with post-taka Keaki Mori...*delightedsighwithbiggrin* :D
Yes just me and Keaki Mori :D..... And we loved one another...:D
However(!) I was feeling too guilty about the age difference(I think I was meant to be in my early twenties) and kept going in to a "I can't do this, it's not fair to you/won't work/too guilty" type routine so we kept breaking up and going back to our separate corners of the island. HEAD>DESK! Yes, ok slap me, tell me to pull myself together!

It's very, very rare that I dream of Taka, unfortunately. I particularly enjoy the extremely rare steamy ones with Anju or Miki.... :D
